I met my beautiful wife, Coach Roz, at CFV.

For a big part of my life I was caught in a cycle of drug addiction and alcoholism.  I went to a treatment center in Dec 2014 where I was introduced to CrossFit.  It was actually part of the curriculum, lol.  I thought it was crazy.  Like what does this have to do with sobriety?  In my addiction I NEVER worked out.  Surprise, huh. CrossFit soon became my favorite part of my day.  It showed me that I was worth saving.  I was able built self confidence, self-esteem, mental strength and have fun while doing it.  I can say that being a part of CFV has changed my life.  I have had many ups and downs since I walked out of the safety of that treatment center. When you leave treatment the staff tries there best to prepare you for your sobriety in the real world.  At the end of the day it is a personal choice that is made everyday, to walk the path that I choose. I have been sober for 9 years.  Still blows my mind.
