There is a quiet power in showing up, and since she first stepped through our doors during "Bring a Friend Week" in October 2024, Gina has become a heartbeat of our community.
For Gina, CrossFit is so much more than a leaderboard or a PR; she describes it as her therapy. It is the place where she has transformed her perspective on herself, learning the profound lesson that showing up for exactly what your body allows—even on days that require a total modification—is a massive win. That level of grace and resilience is exactly what makes her a "Virilis" athlete.
Beyond the barbell, Gina’s heart is most full when she’s watching her kids overcome things they thought were hard. It’s clear that same spirit of perseverance runs in the family. Gina, we are so incredibly proud of the way you lead by example, both in and out of the gym. You belong here, and we are honored to be part of your journey.

10. Anything else you want to add about CFV, CrossFit, or yourself?
CFV has changed so much of "gym culture" for me. I have no anxiety walking in to any class. Not just at my preferred time, everyone is welcoming - members and coaches. CFV has been a big part of me learning to love working out and not just needing to workout.
