How long have you been doing CrossFit?
I have been doing CrossFit for about a year.
What is your favorite CrossFit workout and/or movement?
My favorite workout is “Helen.”
What do you love most about CrossFit Virilis and CrossFit, in general?
What I love most about CrossFit Virilis is that I feel at home every time I walk into the gym, and I love the positive environment.
Name one of your CrossFit goals for 2017.
My CrossFit goal is to be able to complete the “Murph” RXd.
What’s the best advice Jobie has ever given you?
The best advice Jobie ever gave me is: “The body does need sufficient sleep, Andy. And “Four 100s is better than seven 70s.”
If you could be any super hero, what super hero would it be and why?
I would be Super Man for sure because he is super strong and inspires others to be selfless.
What was your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject in school WAS math. Numbers make more sense to me than words sometimes.
What is the Andy lifestyle like outside of the gym?
The Andy lifestyle outside of the gym is a lot of hours at work, which isn’t bad because I love what I do, and spending time with the people I love. Netflix every once in a while. The Walking Dead on Sundays.
What’s your favorite book or movie?
My favorite movies are all Kung Fu Panda movies.
What makes you the happiest?
What makes me the happiest is when I get a random day off and I get to spend time with Stephanie and Zoe Even though they drive me crazy…sometimes
What is your favorite quote?
“God only puts his strongest soldiers in the toughest battles.”
Where is a place that you’d really like to travel to, and why?
I would like to travel to Colorado, because I want to try to ski and I have never seen real snow before.
What’s your favorite team?
My favorite sports team is the Spurs. Born and raised in SA!
