He’s an EMT/Medic for SAFD, he’s an amazing dad and husband, he spins on the ones and twos (and we all know him as DJ Squared), and he is a strong athlete. How long have you been doing CrossFit?
Four years total.
What’s your favorite workout?
Annie – the benchmark WOD.
What’s your favorite movement?
Why do you do CrossFit?
Initially, I did CrossFit to do something different. Now, I do it to feel great, be healthy, and stay alive.
What meal could you eat every day for the rest of your life?
Rest of my life?!! Porterhouse Steak, loaded sweet potato, parmesan crusted asparagus, with scallops and crab on the side. Although this sounds great to me, I think after a few months I would feel not so great about it.
What has CrossFit helped you do?
Push myself and stay less out of shape.
If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be, and why?
Right now, I would say the whole family. Sars-cov-2 has made this problematic for quite some time now.
What are your top three favorite movies?
Coming to America, The Professional, Shawshank Redemption.
What makes you the happiest?
Family, friends, progress.

I love the environment and camaraderie at CFV. Hard to find type of positive vibe that makes everything better!
