CrossFit Virilis July Member of the Month: Anuj Kainth
How long have you been CrossFitting?
It's been about a year since I got back on the horse.
What’s your favorite movement?
Anything body weight, because it truly measures how far you've come and how far you still need to go!
What’s your favorite workout?
They all sound good before I start.
How does CrossFit impact you on a daily basis?
My pants fit now, so I got that going for me. Also, it gives me something to look forward to every day.
How has CrossFit Virilis impacted you long-term?
It’s gotten me more conscious about my health. I try to invest in my own health daily; it has motivated my wife to do the same and I can see the positive impact it's is having on our three children.
What would you do today if you knew you could not fail?
Play in a PGA tour. Hey, at least I'm working for those millions and not just buying a lottery ticket. 🤷🏽♂️
If you could have any meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it include?
Tacos with that amazing green creamy sauce! Infinite possibilities!
Favorite spot to hang out in Cibolo or around these parts?
I prefer Casa de Kainth, where the beer is cold and cheap, the movies are free, and the good company never ceases to show up. (I swear I have a revolving front door.)
Choose a movie title for the story of your life.
I am Legend 😂
If you could step in a teleport for a day and go to any place and time in history, where and when would you travel to?
Ancient India, Stonehenge, Machu Picchu, or Egypt so I could confirm if aliens really do exist. (Thanks, History Channel.)
What's the best thing about your job?
I get to make friendships worldwide while strengthening America's alliances and partnerships.
What are you most thankful for?
Definitely my wife and three children, without them who knows what kind of delinquent I would be.
If you knew someone who had reservations about trying CrossFit, what's the one thing you would say to encourage them?
The hardest part is showing up. Everything can be modified and you will be encouraged towards progress not perfection.
