How long have you been doing CrossFit?
5 months! Joined in April 2018
What is your favorite CrossFit workout and/or movement?
Hero WODs, handstand push-ups, cleans, and double unders!
What do you love most about CrossFit Virilis and CrossFit, in general?
Everyone is so friendly. It really feels like a second family. They always want you to do your best and cheer you on. Crossfit has pushed me beyond limits I never knew was possible.

If you could have lunch with anyone in time, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
My grandpa- I never had the chance to meet him because he died when my dad was little. I would love to see how he was.
What is the Tessa lifestyle like outside of the gym?
Just graduated from UTSA! Wahoo. Also hanging out with my friends and currently looking into physical therapist assistant programs and see what my future holds from there.
What makes you the happiest?
My family, my mans, friends, Titus (my dog), and foooood.
What's your favorite restaurant?
Texas Roadhouse !

Football and the Dallas Cowboys!! Basketball & the Spurs!
Can you share about the impact that CFV has had on you both in and out of the gym?
Since joining CrossFit, have lost 12 pounds and have seen the difference. I never knew my abs could show up like that! I used to avoid wearing tank tops and anything that would show off my arms but now I am confident and wear them all the time. Crossfit has made me stronger and healthier and I also see it in others. I would have never thought I'd be doing cleans, rope limbs, or handstand push ups. It has also taught me to not be afraid to try new things. You can do anything you put your mind to.
Anything else you'd like to add?
I am so happy that I decided to try out Crossfit! I have met wonderful people and I love the coaches. They are so encouraging. I have become a better and stronger person and I wouldn't have it any other way!
