CrossFit Virilis February Member of the Month: Kristin Wilkiewicz!

Kristin Wilkiewicz is our February Member of the Month! She’s a top notch human, a strong mama, a seasoned pro, and loves listening to iHeart Radio. (We recommend the new Ron Burgundy Podcast iHeart just launched if you haven’t listened to it yet.) She’s as consistent and committed as they come, and she becomes a stronger and fitter athlete every day. Here’s to Kristin, cheers to Kristin!

How long have you been CrossFitting?
15 months

Favorite movement?
Snatch

What is your favorite WOD?
Randy

How does CrossFit impact you on a daily basis?
Since I go to the afternoon class, it allows me to end each day with a sense of accomplishment.

How has CrossFit Virilis impacted you long-term (well, as long as you’ve been doing it)?
Well, there’s the health and physical aspect, but it’s also given me confidence to know I can push myself beyond limits.

What would you do today if you knew you could not fail?
Let Jon open his own business.

If you could have any meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it include?
Almost any Mexican food dish.

Favorite spot to hang out in Cibolo (or surrounding area)?
Hang out?  Ain’t nobody got time for that…but I do enjoy dinner at Chuy’s.

Choose a movie title for the story of your life
Dazed and confused. Just kidding, but I love that movie and I don’t really watch movies anymore.

If you could step in a teleport for a day and go to any place and time in history, where and when would you travel to?
I’d want to go see Jesus while he was on Earth, not in any particular location.

What’s the best thing about your job?
Autonomy, flexibility, and problem-solving

What are you most thankful for?
Everything.  I deserve nothing, but for whatever reason God has blessed me anyway.

If you knew someone who had reservations about trying CrossFit, what’s the one thing you would say to encourage them?
I think that depends on what their reservations are.  Is it money, time, effort, etc?  In general, I’d say anyone can do CrossFit.  Every movement can be modified.

Anything else you’d love to add?
Really?  The previous 13 questions were challenging enough (except 1 & 2). 😉
