If you could have lunch with anyone in time, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

The Buddha. From what I have researched about him, I think he would be a cool person to talk to about life, compassion toward all living beings without discrimination, and learning to accept life in this world. Plus, I think the Buddha would like tacos.

Writing poetry and short stories is something that I enjoy doing. I collect old books and love listening to music. I’m also a gamer and love to play games on Xbox and PC platforms. I like going to UFO Conferences. Yes, I believe in UFOs and little green men. I love The X Files ..oh and Bigfoot lives!

“You cannot be lonely if you like the person you’re alone with.” -Dr. Wayne Dyer

What’s your favorite sport & team?
Football; Dallas Cowboys!

Can you share about the impact that CFV has had on you both in and out of the gym?
To me, Crossfit is a process of transforming your mind and body. I still remember my first WOD at Virilis – I finished 1 set. I was out of breath, but mostly ashamed to have allowed myself to get in such bad shape. It was a wake-up call. I still have much more to learn, but the key is to not give up and be consistent. I’m not the same person I was two years ago – I’m better, stronger, faster. I am Virilis!

Anything else you’d like to add?
You guys have been my rock of fitness and well being. Even on days I when I’m not having a good WOD, you are always there to help me up and keep me going.
